BONDING

Prepaid contractors in Alberta need to be licensed and bonded by the Alberta Government.  Without using a licensed prepaid contractor the client puts themselves at risk of loosing any deposits given toward the work in the event things don't go as planned.  Clients will also find that in most cases of fraudulent contracts where deposits are stolen the contractors writing those contracts are not licensed through the Alberta Government.  Since 2013 Service Alberta has increased measures to prevent this from happening including criminal history checks every year for the owners, directors, and officers of companies.

Sensibly Green Enterprises Ltd. does not take deposits without being licensed and bonded in Alberta.

A general security bond is held for $25000.00 in Alberta in order to become a licensed prepaid contractor and this bond is used to pay any losses caused by the contractor from deposits.

Construction bonds can also be obtained by Sensibly Green Enterprises Ltd. for up to $400,000.00 for specific needs on commercial projects.  Ask for more details.
